Retired | Dennis Griffiths – RetiredDennis Griffiths was with the firm between the years, 1992 to 2004. He returned August of 2008 and then fully retired the end of June, 2011. Dennis was raised in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, from University of Portland with a Master of Education degree and from Lewis and Clark Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era and was recalled to active duty for Operation Desert Storm – the first Iraq war. He left the Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. In further service, he was with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office where he held the position of Legal Advisor and Chief of Services. He also served with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as Programs Coordinator and was the Historian for the Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association. He lectured at various venues including City University, Pioneer Pacific College, Portland Community College, Oregon State Sheriffs’ Command College and the FBI Academy. Dennis served on many non-profit boards in our community and was Chairman of the Board of many of those including the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and the Hillsboro Airshow. He and his wife have moved to Soperton Georgia. |
